During the week beginning Monday 23rd February the boys from Morfa Bay met Sandfields Comprehensive School Port Talbot at various climbing venues in the Neath Valley and the Gower.As part of a PE GCSE programme of study students took part in an intensive two day session which covered the fundamentals and basic skills of both climbing and abseiling. The response from those involved was outstanding ensuring that the four days in total resulted in an overwhelming success.
This is the second consecutive year that Sandfields have run such a programme and so it is hoped that they continue to use Morfa Bay as a facilitator for similar pursuits in the future.A big thank you to Dave, Tom, Rhys (Pagey) & Jonathan for their tuition and contribution throughout the week.
